Your Role as a Senior Mechanical Engineer
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key leadership role in the design, analysis, and delivery of cutting-edge HVAC and plumbing systems for a wide range of commercial and multifamily projects. This is a high-impact position where you will lead and mentor a talented team while managing multiple projects from concept through completion.
Your deep technical expertise and innovative leadership skills will help ensure every design meets both our clients' needs and our cutting-edge energy and sustainability standards.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from conceptual design through construction and commissioning.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into overall building designs.
- Perform detailed calculations, load analysis, and equipment selection to optimize system efficiency.
- Oversee and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure high-quality installations and troubleshoot any technical issues.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on HVAC and plumbing systems
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing codes, ASHRAE standards, and LEED guidelines
- Proficiency with design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and energy modeling software.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire others.
- Project management skills, with a history of delivering high-quality designs on time and within budget.
